WHAT IS HOO ELECTROCAUTERY?

HOO Electrocautery is a simple and common procedure used to remove warts and other epidermal growths on the face, neck, and other parts of the body. It uses electrical current to apply heat to the tissue in order to treat warts and other abnormal growths on the skin.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON THE DAY OF A HOO ELECTROCAUTERY TREATMENT?

On the day of the treatment, the patient is prepared and a topical anesthetic is applied. We may need to inject a local anesthetic for bigger lesions. Once the anesthesia has taken effect, a small needle-like tool is placed on each lesion or each wart.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER A HOO ELECTROCAUTERY TREATMENT?

After the treatment, you may experience some discomfort and redness and some scabbing. These scabs fall off in 7 to 10 days.

WHO PERFORMS THIS PROCEDURE?
