HOW DOES POWER PEEL WORK?

Power Peel treatments work through the use of a machine with a handheld device that gently sandblasts fine crystals on the skin. The fine crystals are applied to the outermost layer of the skin to break down dead skin cells which are then simultaneously vacuumed away by the device. Once the rough outermost layer of the skin is sandblasted by the fine crystal and the debris from the pores is sucked out by the vacuum, patients can see the results of smoother and more even skin tone underneath.

IS POWER PEEL SAFE FOR PREGNANT WOMEN?

Pregnant and breastfeeding women can safely get the treatment. If you have more concerns with getting a Power Peel while pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult your physician.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING A POWER PEEL TREATMENT?

Our board-certified dermatologist will guide you throughout the entire Power Peel procedure. You may expect to feel minor tugging like a mild face massage during the procedure which will take between 20 to 30 minutes.    

Most patients can go back to their normal activities after the Power Peel treatment. Any temporary effects will improve after a few hours or within the day. The skin will be more sensitive so it is important to avoid sun exposure and put on sun block for about a week. Expect to see results after the treatment.
