Revlite Laser Treatment

Revlite (Q-Switched Nd:YAG Laser) is a quick laser treatment that works well to erase skin pigmentation. It also tightens skin and makes the pores smaller.

Weekly (pigmentation) or once every 2 weeks (rejuvenation)

WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR REVLITE TREATMENT?

Revlite is ideal for patients with epidermal and dermal lesions including melasma, wrinkle reduction, non-ablative skin resurfacing, acne scars, stretch marks, tattoo removal. The results of Revlite treatment include overall glow, fading of pigmentation, melasma, or tattoo and improvement in lines, wrinkles, and pores. 

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR A REVLITE TREATMENT?

Avoid intense sun exposure, exfoliants, and retinoids two weeks prior to a Revlite treatment.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING A REVLITE TREATMENT?

You will experience heat being delivered by the laser. You may also expect for hairs to turn white with every pass

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER A REVLITE TREATMENT?

Warmth over the treatment area with mild erythema or redness.  This usually goes away immediately after the Revlite treatment depending on the settings used. For tattoo removal, there can be scabbing which will heal in about a week or so.

WHEN CAN I GO BACK TO MY REGULAR ACTIVITIES?

Patients may resume their normal activities but are advised to avoid strenuous physical activities for 24 hours. Application of sunscreen SPF 50 and above is a must after a Revlite treatment. Don't forget to avoid intense sun exposure and the use of tretinoin or other products that make the skin sensitive to light.
